Terms and Conditions
Plain-language summary: I aim to keep things simple and collaborative. These terms outline expectations so we can move fast and build great things together. This page is for general information and is not legal advice.
1. Scope of Work
The scope, deliverables, and timelines will be agreed in writing (email is fine) before work begins. Changes to scope may affect timeline and pricing. I’ll flag impacts early so you can make informed decisions.
2. Timelines
I work iteratively. Milestones and review points keep things on track. If a dependency is delayed (e.g., content, access, approvals), timelines may shift accordingly.
3) Pricing & Payment
Work may be quoted as fixed-fee or hourly. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed. For larger projects, a deposit may be required to reserve time.
4. Intellectual Property
You own your brand assets, content, and approved final deliverables after full payment. I retain ownership of underlying libraries, frameworks, and reusable components used to deliver the work.
5. Content & Access
You’re responsible for securing rights to any content you provide. I’ll need timely access to tools and accounts (or permission to create them) to deliver the project efficiently.
6. Confidentiality
I keep your non‑public information confidential and use it only for the project. You agree to do the same for any non‑public materials I share.
7. Warranties & Limitations
I deliver work with care and best practices. However, no service can be guaranteed error‑free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant work.
8. Cancellation
You can pause or cancel with written notice. You’ll only be billed for work completed to date and any non‑refundable third‑party costs incurred on your behalf.
9. Third‑Party Services
Some projects use third‑party tools (hosting, analytics, SaaS). Those services are subject to their own terms and fees. I’ll make reasonable recommendations and help with setup.
